Dear friends of shot at ten paces
This coming Sunday is the beginning of Advent, my favourite liturgical season of the year. For the past few years I have produced daily photo reflections, 'advent apertures', to help myself listen for God's continuing revelation in my life through words and images, and to encourage others to do likewise. However, I have been particularly unwell for much of this year, and especially in the last few months with a nasty virus, and I am left with very little energy and quite severe depression once again. So, just as I've not been able to write for either shot at ten paces or other blogs since Lent, sadly I have also had to conclude I am unable to produce 'advent apertures' for this year. (I have made a single advent commitment to write a 'Blue Christmas' post for the Godspace blog to celebrate the shortest day and will share the link when it is published.)
I hope to be more active again with shot at ten paces next year. In the meantime, this comes with all advent blessings. By Grace, may we all glimpse the coming Glory in these short winter days.
